Kevin Figueroa

Kevin Figueroa (Aka Nowandformerly) is a Bay Area based, Visual Artist & Experimental Musician working with any medium he can get his hands dirty with. Raised in the deep Central Valley & spending years in Michoacán, Mexico as a child, Kevin began picking oranges and learning the lessons of farm working, developing a passion for a diligent lifestyle & gaining creative influence with a deep agricultural background. Since the pandemic, Kevin has approached a back to basics format using paints, scissors, film photography, printing and pasting to create warm and vibrant textural physical collages. He scans, prints and uses materials from old personal photographs, vintage international magazines, instructional books, hand painted objects and beyond.
